Attorney Hanna is a goal-driven, time-conscious professional dedicated to advancing the interests of each individual or entity who engages her services.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Virginia and her Juris Doctor from the Massachusetts School of Law at Andover.

After many years as a small business owner, Susan Hanna opened her law practice in 2007. She immediately began working as a neutral investigator for the Juvenile Court judges in Lowell. Shortly thereafter, Essex County contracted with Attorney Hanna to make similar investigations for the judges sitting in Lawrence, Lynn, Newburyport and Salem. Many investigations later, Attorney Hanna has substantial experience and insight into how the Department of Children and Families (DCF) views the parents and children when a 51A Report is filed and investigated.

Attorney Hanna moved her office to the Lorenzo Building in Lawrence in June 2009. For better convenience and service to clients, the office is only three blocks straight down Canal Street from the Fenton Judicial Center and offers free parking for visitors.

Attorney Hanna belongs to the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Essex County Bar Association and the Women's Bar Association.
